Why should we hire dj funn?
We understand you have many options when it comes to hiring a DJ for your wedding or special event. The influence your DJ/emcee has on your wedding/special event is paramount. We truly care about your wedding/special event and will make sure you are super happy and fully confident. A DJ doesn’t just play music. We help to coordinate your wedding/event with the venue and vendors, make guests feel welcomed, and are attentive to every detail of your big day. We promise we will do an awesome job.
WHO WILL BE MY DJ?
One of our super talented DJs will be assigned to you 60 days prior to your event/wedding. From then on, your main contact will be your DJ. Your DJ will be super happy to meet with you, chat about music, discuss details, etc. Our DJs want to make certain that you have peace of mind when it comes to your special event.
What is included in your booking rates?
EVERYTHING! We don’t charge extra for multiple site weddings (ceremony at different location than reception), dance lighting, wireless microphones, set-up/tear-down, travel, etc. Also, we love meeting with clients once or multiple times to talk about your big day…we understand the importance of peace of mind.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are covered with a 2 million dollar general liability policy at every event we work and we hold an LLC business license.
What type of equipment do you use?
We use all high-end professional gear: Apple products for playback, Mackie mixing boards & subwoofers/speakers, Shur wireless microphones, Livewire speaker cables, etc.
CAn guests request songs?
Yes, we have a unique way for guests to request songs… via TEXT MESSAGE. Guests can text requests in real time. However, we use discernment with all requests. Of course, you have the option to not allow requests.
do you have mics for the ceremony?
Yes. We have wireless headset mics for the officiant and handheld wireless mics for readings during the ceremony.
What type of music do you play?
Anything and everything. The music questionnaire, available under the "booking rates” tab, helps us cater the playlist for our clients, guests, and event. We also pride ourselves on the fact that we’re super attentive at each event, making certain we’re playing the perfect music.
